It seems like Lanvin fans aren't the only ones hung over from the Lanvin x H&M collab that came out last November.
Not that anyone's complaining.
The cuts, silhouettes, and even the photo shoot is very reminiscent of his recent work for H&M (the lighting and the setting to be specific). According to Alber Elbaz, "more women are wearing evening clothes during the day". It may be because of the fact that fashion and women are looking back into those glamorous decades for inspiration. Those years when wearing evening dresses and suits were the standard casual day attire that both men and women were brought up to wear. When wearing red lipstick during the day was acceptable and heels were a must for a proper young lady.
Yup, those days
Yup, those days
This collection is definitely a great mix of the luxurious and sophisticated look and feel that Lanvin is well known for. Elbaz
incorporated youthful touches such as prints, ruffles, and sweet collars to some of the pieces which balances the collection out by adding an ease to the feeling of the clothes without any of them losing their elegance.
Now enough talk, on to the collection
LOVE this! I am so into Maxi dresses now (yes, I may be a bit late but I never had the guts to wear them due to my petite frame)
I'm drawn to this too for some reason. And I usually don't like "busy" outfits like this
Glamour at its finest, the wolf adds a great touch to the entire look
I would love to wear this for work!
Did you see the print?
and this!
and J'adore the last 3 looks!
What do you think? Any favorites?
