Last of the HK set - SCAD HK

One of the few out of the ordinary things I did in HK was visit the SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) campus.
My good friend Regine studies there and she was nice enough to tour me around (Twice! Cause the first time, I didn't have my camera)

Let me just say, that for a small school, it's a pretty bad ass place to study in. I wish I had gone to a school as inspiring as this place. (Maybe I will! Gives me a reason to live in Hong Kong!)

HK Street Style (Sept 2011)

This is a little overdue, but enjoy!
I will forever love the fashion in Hong Kong! It's so eccentric and unique, yet very high fashion and ahead. I cannot wait to be back in December and see how everyone dresses for winter! My dad says it's pretty insane!

Harbour City Mall
I must admit, it was pretty intimidating to go up to people and ask them if I could take their photographs; especially since I don't speak the local language. But sure enough, the people were very nice, and very polite with saying no, and I am very thankful for that :)

These pictures don't do justice to the awesome streetwear that walk the streets of Hong Kong.

P.S. I know, I'm in dire need of a new camera!

HK Trip Sept 2011 - Part 1

Finally, after almost a week of sneezing and coughing, I'm a little better. Yes, just a little. At least enough to get back to work.

Before I begin, it's been raining cats and dogs here in Manila, and I just want to hope that everyone out there is safe and stays safe! Pray for the safety of everyone!

Bird's eye view of Manila from the plane. I love you Manila, but what is with this city planning?
I will never get tired of Hong Kong! There's always another street to explore, another store to enter, another Chinese restaurant to try, and out of this world fashion from the locals that will make you feel like you're in some fashion show.

Super cute store by Hankow Road. Not my style, but look at those cute outfits for little girls! Even children's clothes are cute and chic.
Here's a quick rundown on my spontaneous trip to Hong Kong :)

Hong Kong trip 2011

As some of you may know, when I go on trips, I let the pictures speak for themselves, unfortunately for this trip, I didn't get to take as many photos as I would've wanted because by the 2nd day, I got this horrible pain in my back and shoulders from all the walking and the weight of my back, so I decided to just leave my camera during the 3rd and 4th days, which is annoying because those were the two days that had the best photo ops! But enjoy these ones anyways! :)

Where the Magic Happens

A necklace from my upcoming jewelry line.
It's been awhile, and I must say, I missed you all! I've been working on my line (what else), and it's taking longer than expected just cause most of the time I'm on someone else's time considering the fact that I don't have a car here. I miss my Cooper :(

Other than that, I've been contemplating on my return to the US and have been looking at interior design inspirations here and there. Oh, and I finally caved in and got twitter, I would love it if you guys would follow me - @samcastweets!

And lastly, I'll be in Hong Kong the end of the month (SO EXCITED!), despite that I think we already have our itinerary planned, it'll be great to hear your thoughts on places, stores, malls, RESTAURANTS, etc. that I should go check out!

P.S. The giveaway will come soon! It's just postponed for a bit.
