Valentino Pre-Fall 2011

A romantic, classic elegance is usually what one would expect from a Valentino collection; and for the the fashion house's Pre-Fall collection, it was youthful twist to their iconic feminine motifs. The collection is called "Techno Couture", and looking at the silhouttes, it seems like Elbaz isn't the only one who had a feel for "eveningwear-to-daywear".

Their signature ruffles, roses, and bows, mixed with a more subdued palette and an interesting combination of fabrics clearly makes this collection more targeted towards the younger Valentino customer. A young model or socialite perhaps? Or one of today's young star's on the red carpet. Stylists, on your marks, get set, GO!

P.S. As you click the cut and look at the photos, please divert your attention to the stunning shoes. That is all

I just LOVE the simplicity of this, for some reason, the only person that comes to mind for this dress is Carey Mulligan. This would be gorgeous if it was longer too

I don't think I could ever pull off this coat, but I love this coat! I can't stop looking at it! Interestingly enough, I was supposed to create something like this for my Collections class back in college, but good fur/faux fur wasn't cheap!

Not a fan of how the jacket looks, but good God! Look at that detail! If you sew like I do, you'd know that a) suede is difficult to sew, and b) POINTS are difficult to sew!

The costume designer for Gossip Girl needs to get his hands on this little number for Leighton Meester's character Blair Waldorf!

This dress is SO Red Carpet ready!
