Packing for Manila

I always have mixed feelings when I go home. I'm super happy and excited because I get to see my dad, my family, and my best friends, but at the same time I'm very sad because I leave behind the boy who's been there for me through thick and thin, and who's basically been my lifeline for the past 4 years. :(

My heart just broke a little while writing that.

Also, now that I have a dog, it gets a little more difficult for me to leave :(

Anyways, I feel like I'm overpacking, and yet, I also have that annoying feeling that I didn't pack enough and that I'm going to run out of clothes while I'm there. Boo. Oh well! I'll figure it out, I always do :)
How do you guys do your packing for long, overseas trips? Do tell in the comments!

I hope you enjoy your time at home. Your boy and your puppy butt won't be going anywhere. Relax and have fun!

I think it's wonderful you are going to see your family. Don't feel sad about leaving your man and your doggy. The time will fly by, trust me. Have a safe and fun trip, hon! xo

  8. I've never been on such a long trip, but you look incredibly organized! I wish I could be like that even for weekend getaways.

What an adorable little face your pup is making - he looks just as upset! But don't worry, I'm sure being away from your boyfriend and doggie will only make it that much better when you're together again, and I'm sure you'll have a great time while you're away! :)

  18. if its a loong trip I prefer overpacking than the opposite. A good way to do it is to rool the clothes and putting them into ziplock bags. this way when you are searching for a piece of clothing you dont do mess. dont forget to fill shoes with things or socks, this way to fill any type od space available ;)
advise from a world back packer :))

I take all my accessories with me. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, usually I pack a whole lot more than you, hahaa! Depends on the period. But basically I take two outfits per day, I think it's easier :) In the evening you might want to change in case it's been too hot during the day, or you might have dinner in a fancier place.. I always keep those things in mind. (control freak? perhaps)

  41. I know what You mean. You know I'm never traveled alone with out my boy. we both come from the same country, so if we travel we do it together. I'm so missing my mom and others, but if we can't afford at the moment to travel I stay by my boy and dream about that day when I'm gone hug my mom. Gosh, and now I shed few tears.
We have cat so this is again new problem, because we don't have people where could we leave our cat.

    Your pup is sooo adorable!
I hope no matter what You gone have amazing time at home!

p.s. great traveling box for jewelry!

  42. I can imagine the conflicting feelings going through your mind.
I try to wear a lot of cottons and separates when I'm in Manila - nothing too flashy or can't be worn in humid weather!

Have some halo halo at Iceberg to cheer up my dear!

well when traveling, I think that it's cool to pack just what you need
because let's face it, sometimes you get some shoppin in
and then that extra space in the suit case comes in handy =)
