Trends 03/11

Some trends that have already started making its way

1) Color Blocking; an inevitable trend that was all over the Spring 2011 Runways. I personally think it's a hit or a miss, like you REALLY need to know how to match your colors

2) Studs - We're definitely going back to that punk rock era. Just goes to show that the 80s never died

See the others under the cut!

3) 70's Comeback - Aside from the 80's, the 70's is making a comeback with the large array of wide legged trousers and platform shoes and clogs. Heck! Even the prints are coming back!

4) Clutch bags - Fashion is getting rid of those big boho bags that can carry everything but the kitchen sink and is going towards a completely different direction. I guess bigger isn't better after all!

5) Green - No, fashion isn't suddenly becoming environmentally friendly (although we are getting there). This season's preferred color seems to be green. From light, spring shades, to dark, modern hues, everyone is seeing green all over the runway.

6) Maxis - Long, flowing skirts and dresses is what women want to wear on the streets. And why not? They're sexy, feminine, yet still very comfortable to wear!

  15. I actually love all these trends! My favorite is the 70s comeback and I love how clutches are more appropriate for daytime now as opposed to usually being used for evenings :)
