A lot of men don't like to go out of their comfort zone when dressing up. Most of them think of clothes as a utility instead of as luxury (it should be both). This gives designers either the easiest job of just repeating everything over and over again with nobody caring, or it relays a challenge of how one can you make a piece of utility a little bit more special without crossing that thin line of being "too much"
Bottega Veneta takes on that challenge by mixing fabrics and adding a touch of color to their straightforward and edgy pieces. Tomas Maier incorporated character into his industrial clothing and created eye-catching styles through the juxtaposition of classic silhouettes and unexpected details. The result? A great collection that I know a lot of men in my life would enjoy
