Current obsession: Maxi Dresses

As mentioned in my previous post, I've recently started getting into maxi dresses. I'm 5 feet tall (apparently I'm 4'11 and 3/4 from my last doctor's visit. EFF THAT!) so when they first came out, I never thought I'd ever pull them off. I was bitter and thought even went as extreme as thinking that they were quite tacky (I absolutely take all that back now!)

Well, a couple of months ago, I saw one on sale, and due to my curiosity, I tried it on, and...

 
I've been hooked ever since! It's funny, cause every maxi dress I've bought since then has been on sale, and I don't even mind hemming them (H&M's having a sale on all of their last season's maxi dresses right now). I know they're not exactly the biggest trend right now (they reached their peak a couple of months ago), but hey, it's how you wear it, not when. 

Today was another gorgeous day, which gave me the chance to wear my favorite maxi dress; my printed, black and white jersey maxi dress from H&M. 

I had to do a bunch of errands, and I thought, why not do it in style?

She asked me to get a toy for my brother as a surprise for him later when I pick him up from school 

 

I just love maxi dresses now! They're so sexy, comfortable and chic without looking like you're trying too hard.

And YES! YOU CAN WEAR IT ALL YEAR ROUND (considering that the weather is nice of course). If you live in an area that has all 4 seasons but for some reason, global warming has given you a day off from below zero weather and wearing a maxi dress is bearable, by all means, go for it! Wear a dark colored one if you really want to stay in season.
